Colour Motion Illusion
The two people remain in exactly the same fixed position. Only their colours and coloured edges change.
What is this illusion called?
This is a form of illusory apparent motion. The position, shape and size of the figures remain completely fixed. Rapid changes in colour, contrast and coloured edges are interpreted by the visual system as movement, making the figures appear to sway or dance even though they do not actually move.
The position, pose and size of the people remain unchanged. The illusion is produced only by changes in the main colour and the coloured edges.
